Aqua trainer introduction Manfred Müller

As a former member of the Swiss show jumping team and in his profession as a farrier, Manfred Müller was looking for an alternative way to continue dedicating his life to horses after his health forced him to retire from equestrian sports. After thorough research into useful and cost-effective training and rehabilitation equipment for horses, Manfred Müller came across aqua training 14 years ago, decided to purchase a machine, and founded his “Aquatherapiezentrum Bonau” (Bonau Aquatherapy Center). Unfortunately, this aqua trainer proved to be notoriously unreliable: it seemed like every six months the motor would break down, resulting in costly and time-consuming downtime that annoyed not only Mr. Müller himself, but also his customers. So it was clear: a new device was needed!

His many years of experience with the requirements for technology, horse- and user-friendly functionality, and durability came in handy when comparing alternative aqua trainers. After careful consideration, he finally decided to rely on Sascotec equipment when restarting his facility. Since then, operations have been running smoothly.

His Aquatherapiezenter Bonau in Switzerland—the first of its kind there, incidentally—has now become an institution that has gained national recognition for the successful treatment of its “patients.” Manfred Müller is one of Europe’s most experienced practitioners of aqua training for horses. He believes it is important that training is individually supervised and tailored to each patient. The handling of the equipment must be correct, as must the adjustment of the load to the medical findings, the current state of health, the current performance capacity, and the training goals set. For him, aqua training is fulfilling. He helps horses and owners—and is delighted when his treatment concepts benefit both!

In any case, Sascotec is delighted to have such a skilled user and colleague as Manfred Müller at its side! Let us look forward to many more years of successful collaboration in the service of our four-legged and two-legged friends.
