Sascotec Horsepower gives horses the amount of exercise they need to stay healthy and perform well, even in confined spaces. Oliver Sandmann, the founder and owner of Sascotec, comes from a family of horse enthusiasts and has therefore been familiar with all the requirements of modern horse husbandry since childhood.
In the wild, horses cover up to 60 kilometers a day in search of food. This keeps their cardiovascular system and musculoskeletal system fit and healthy. Even open stabling cannot come close to meeting this need for exercise. Sascotec products address this deficit and its health and economic risks.
With the Sascotec exercise concept—in particular the individually configurable aqua trainers and horse treadmills—you can give your horse the exercise it needs. This innovative advancement of conventional sandwich-construction panel floors protects the horse’s joints like no other horse treadmill and at the same time reduces impact on the mechanics of the treadmill itself – a plus for durability!
The Sascotec modular principle is unique. Our basic model of the horse treadmill (including incline function) can be gradually upgraded to a high-tech treadmill. Options such as higher speed, integrated horse scales, or digital motion analysis with remote diagnosis can be easily retrofitted. And our treadmill can even be converted into an aqua trainer, whose cool water not only benefits your horses in many ways, but also saves you money thanks to our convenient financing, leasing, and takeover models.
